Membership in the New Jersey Concrete and Aggregate Association is a cost of doing business. It is also an investment in the future - both immediate and long term. Association membership is a means of operating more efficiently. It collectively provides members with essential services more economically than can be done by an individual company.

The NJCAA provides technical and promotional assistance to architects, engineers, builders, developers and public officials on the versatile uses of ready mixed concrete. Assistance is provided in all areas of concrete usage, including parking areas, tilt up construction, ICF homes, poured walls, flowable fill, and low and high rise construction.

The trend is toward increased government control of the industry. Legislative and regulatory plans for regulating land use, solid waste, ground water, safety and reclamation are examples. The best way to protect our interest in these matters is for your industry to speak out on it`s own behalf. The New Jersey Concrete and Aggregate Association speaks for our industry.

The NJCAA meetings and workshops throughout the year give the membership an opportunity to become better informed on industry matters. It gives the members an opportunity to discuss common problems and solutions with others in the industry. The NJCAA also provides a liaison with allied industries and national associations.

Through active committee participation, the NJCAA has the technical expertise that no company can afford. This enables the NJCAA to represent the industry in matters dealing with specification and other areas affecting the production and use of quality concrete and sound aggregate.

In most cases, the money saved on association sponsored programs exceeds the cost of your membership investment. NJCAA currently sponsors a group stormwater permit, on-line credit service, energy savings program and drug testing programs saving members thousands of dollars.

A strong state association is not a luxury, but a necessity. It is an essential part of the industry. It should be an essential part of your business. Membership is like having another productive employee working for you at a fraction of the regular employee cost.
